I am not impressed…
With treatment of women pretty much anywhere in the world.
With the state of public education in the United States.
With the way people deny privilege and refuse to acknowledge it.
With my own long-time denial of privilege and lack of confrontation.
With people who use lazy concepts like “political correctness” to excuse their own prejudice.
With income inequity.
With most of the pap that’s come out of the entertainment industry in the past decade.
With apologists.
I am impressed by intelligent conversation and people who are not afraid to challenge their own assumptions.
Will I be impressed by you?
